You will need a referral from your physician for the mammogram.  Please schedule your appointment yearly unless directed otherwise. 

If you have films at another facility, please contact that facility to send the films to the current mammogram facility.

You should receive a letter from the facility telling you that you had a normal mammogram.  If you do not receive a letter within two weeks of your appointment, please contact your physician.

If there has been a change in your mammogram from the previous exam, the facility may contact you for further "magnification" views or an ultrasound.  These are frequently performed to determine if the change is benign or something more worrisome.  Please schedule the appointment as directed by the Radiologist.
